My Interviveiw With The Checker Flag

I recently was granted a interview with the Checker Flag, I hope you all  enjoy the interview.

J S Did you come from the same family as the Caution Flag did?

C F  Caution Flag and I are distant cousins.

J S  How long did you want to be NASCAR flag for?

C F  I wanted to be a checkered flag since I was a baby flag.

J S  How did you get your job?

C F  I got my job when my grandfather retired.

J S  Have you been doing this for over 50 years or are you a newcomer?

C F  I've been doing this for many years.

J S  Do you ever get very cold on the stand waiting on cold days?

C F  Yes, I get cold and I get hot, but I'm only out there briefly so it's not too bad.

JS  What is the bad parts about the job?

C F  The bad parts of the job is that I don't really get to come out in public until the end of a race & sometimes my fear of heights gets to me.

J S  Do you like going out for the Green White Checkers?

C F  I don't mind a green white checker...it's exciting for the fans.

J S Do you like the new rules so far?

C F  I don't mind the new rules. I have to fly at the end no matter what.

J S  Do you get along with the other flags?

C F  I get along fine with other flags. Green flag is probably the best because he starts the race and I end it.
