Austin's Post Race Report For LAS VAGES

This weekend's post race will be kind of short because I wasn't home to watch so I had a friend update me on Austin's race. Austin was not mentioned
Pic is Credit of Brittany Cote  all of my pics on my blogs of Austin are

a lot during that race so it was hard to follow him. But I will do best I can.

Austin started the race in 25th position
Highest running is 14th on lap 180
Thinks loosing engine on lap 115
Finished 20th 1 lap down
From what I was told he had a good race with no wrecks and good Pit Stops.
With only 3 races in the book Austin has not had the finishes , he like to get. But for all of you Austin fans . Do not give  up on him yet. Long way to go, GOOD LUCK Next Weekend Austin.

Here is my interview wifth Maritime Pro Stock Driver Dylan Gosbee's Wife Jenine Gosbee

Where are you from?

 I am from Charlottetown P E I.

How long have you been aroun d the sport for?

I went to our local races a few times as a young teenager but started foing consistently when I met Dylan when I was 15 which would be 15 years ago.

Is it scary having your hubby race in the summer?

For the most part its not scary having my husband race, not after all these years, but there are definitely sone moments where I get a little tense.

What is it like to be a race car drivers wife?

I love this sport and enjoy being able to support Dylan, Having said that this sport requires a lot if commitment and sacrifice which is difficult at times but the joy it brings to Dylan to be behind the wheel of a race car makes it worth it.

With having a toddler and a newborn do you get to the races often?

. Unfortunately with such young children at home I don't get to travel to all the races, I only make it to about 1/4 of them but I always follow the race on race time radio or twitter or have a friend update me.

What is you fave track on the tour?

My favorite track is probably Antigonish, but I also enjoy Petty a lot as its close to home and Dylan usually does well there.

Do you enjoy the traveling each weekend?

m not a huge fan of the traveling, it has its ups and downs. Sometimes its nice but it makes for a really long day/ weekend.

What would you tell other wives or girlfriends of a driver?

I think its important for everyone to have a hobby their passionate about and I believe as wives we are called to support our husbands. There definitely needs to be a balance in our lives and when u have that balance it works out!

Are you a NASCAR Fan like your hubby?

! Im not aw big a fan of Nascar as Dylan is but I do enjoy it and watch most races with him and cheer for Kyle Bush

Is it hard not to be scared watching him out there at times?

It breaks my heart at times to watch him work so hard and sacrifice so much and then get wrecked or have something break.

How hard is it for you when he has a hard weekend?

Dylan is so hard on himself and so passionate about this sport and aa his wife its very difficult to see when he doesnt get back what he puts in!

My Interview With Maritime Driver Brady John Creamer

Where are you from?

 I'm from miramichi New Brunswick

How long have you been a race Driver for?

I've been racing for the past 16 years starting in go karts, and then eventually moved my way up into legends cars. After spending 3 or 4 seasons in that i moved to the local pro stock ranks in fredericton. And from there moved to a sportsman for a couple seasons. Now I'm back full time racing different tour and local races all over

Coming from New Brunswick do you get to travel to other tracks on the tour?

Yes, we have raced at every track in New Brunswick, with the sportsman and pro stock.

What made you get into liking the tour?

I grew up watching guys on the tour like Wayne smith, Shawn Tucker. And always looked up to them guys. Never thought I would get to race door to door with them but it was really a dream that's now a reality most weekends.

How many races through the summer do you get to?
Usually we get to do anywhere between 12 - 16 races per summer

What is it like going to the I W K 250 race I have never been to one?

I've never raced in the iwk 250, but it's an amazing track with so much to take in. We plan on making our first appearance this year.

Do you enjoy meeting new fans?

I always love meeting new fans. Love being able to talk and get to know them personally each week and thank them for making it possible for us drivers to be able to do what we love.

Who is your fave Driver on the tour?

Growing up my favourite driver on the tour was Shawn tucker. Local New Brunswick guy with lots of experience made it easy to pull for him.

What can you tell people not use to the tour?

The tour is one of a kind for sure. Always exciting fast racing.

 Are you a NASCAR fan?

Big nascar fan, don't usually get to watch to many races but when i do it's a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

Have you been to any NASCAR races if you are?

I've been to 5 nascar races. 2 Daytona 500 races 2 in New Hampshire and one at Charlotte.

Last but not least who is your fave driver?

My Interview With MPST Driver Dylan Gosbee

This picture is not mine I take no credit for it it is Dylan's pic

This is my interview with Dylan Gosbee, Dylan races on the Maritime Pro Stock Tour her in Maritime Canada every summer sorry I lost my questions but here is his answers.

I have raced since I wad 15. Started at Raceway Park in Oysterbed bridge in Hobby stock

I've raced in Hobby stock street stock modified and currently race sportsman prostock and pass

I've raced mpst for 3 yrs now

The traveling isn't bad when the races are spaced out every other weekend but gets hard when we race back to back weekends

I'm sure my wife gets nervous but she loves it as much as I do and supports it 100%

You always feel more pressure to perform at your home track

The competition in MPST and PASS is second to none. There's always 10 cars that have a shot to win the race given the right circumstances

I've had a few hard crashes. I broke my wrist and thumb 4 years ago in a crash

I love meeting the fans I think it's great to get to get to meet them at the differnt tracks and chat prior to the race.

It's really hard to get sponsors but I have been lucky to have some great people and sponsors behind me. Wendelle Taylors Garage. Eastern Mechanics. Trinity Bay Paving and Greenfield Enterprise

For the most part all of the drivers race pretty clean. The hardest part is not beating your self

The car is getting close to being ready for 2015 there's a few changes that we need to make but can't wait to hit the track

I enjoy watching the short track and road corse races in nascar the other races are great if you need help falling asleep haha

My Interview with NASCAR Fan Don Catron

J S Where are you from meaning where where you born at?

D C  Freeport Illinois

J S  How long have you been a fan for?

D C  Watched races as a child on TV, but really became a fan in the late 70s The action of the sport, plus actually meeting some "up & comers

J S  What would you say is your #1 track to go to?

D C  Bristol is my favorite because you are right on to of the track. There just aren't any bad seats

J S  What have you witness between other fan's at tracks you have gone to?

D C  NASCAR fans AR like a giant family. If you ever need anything while at the track, you can find someone that will share or sell it

J S  What do you prefer day or night races?

D C  Night. Nothing beats the action under the lights

J S  Do you like the new rule changes so far put in place?

J S  Do you like the tough competion during the chase?

D C   Any playoff format brings the best out of the competition

J S  What is your opinion on how to improve NASCAR?

D C   All drivers must pick a series to run in for points. That are allowed to run in other series, but no points or check for winning
That way more younger / newer drivers will be in the races since teams won't want to "throw cars away" racing for just the trophy It will still be additional seat time, plus they all claim they do it for the fun of the sport. Of that's true, come race

J S   What would you change in Sport?

D C  Change in the sport would be to get back to some of the older/smaller tracks where the sport started

J S  How would you make it more better for the fans?

D C   Most local tracks have a meet and greet session before the race, NASCAR could do something similar instead of the intro parade
