Austin Dillon's Michigan Post Race Report

Austin started 7th for Sunday's race at Michigan International Speed Way  on the first lap Austin already  got back to 10th. There has been a lot of passing for the lead it has been pretty good so far fo being the first 6 laps. Caution than came out and they are doing pit stops on the caution but the leaders all stay out.  It has started to rain. Red flag was than brought out When they restart in 12th ''Austin said he was a bit loose and they are working on it and he thinks he can get a top-10 finish and he seems to be doing good on the restarts''   Drivers are now back in their cars we are ready to get going again , cars where than rolling off of pit road. This should make it a interesting restart to watch. There was a troubling cloud over turn 4 they where not out for to long when they got read flagged for rain.  The drivers then went back to the cars again they are now back on the track. Austin restarted in12th one lap until competition yellow has now been moved up to 40 it is now 7 wide on the restart Austin has made his way back up to 8 so far race has been okay but a lot of rain. The rain was tourture for this race there was 4 red flags before the race had been call the 41 won due to rain. Austin came in 20th at the finish because of the rain call.

Wednesday 10 June 2015

Austin started 9th for the FedEX 400 benefiting Autism Speaks in Dover. There has been a lot of action up in the front a
lot of passing taking place. With 9 laps in Austin is in 10th there is still a lot of passing. Austin has gone back 1 spot Austin has been impressive this year so far with good finishes each weekend. Austin is a very talented young driver , I can see him trying to fight his way into the chase this year. I hate how everyone say that Austin got the ride handed to him because of who his Grandfather is, his grandfather is Richard Childress owner of R C R and  because Austin drives for him they say it was handed to him which is so wrong.  Austin has worked his way up just like everyone Else has he already has championships to his name he has earned his way into this sport if Richard did not think he was ready he wouldn't have moved him to full time last year because of who he is means nothing.

Austin has moved his self back into 11th he has been staying up front for all 53 of the 400 laps so far up to this point there has been no caution. First caution then came out Austin was in 10th before that had come out.Pit Stops have begun under the caution flag I had been mostly all single file after that restart Austin was fighting Kurt Busch for 9th and passed him. Austin has slipped back into 12 Austin has drifted back to 16th position still mainly single file racing up front. With 130 laps are now complete Austin is in 17th right now. There is a lot of traffic up in front of the pack. Green flag stops is now underway. Austin is currently 15th but because of his stop he was now in 24th, caution than came out for the 17 hitting the wall.  On the restart there was a lot of double file racing. Austin is now battling for 12th the race is starting to get very good now. Caution is now out for a wreck for Denny Hamlin Clint Bowyer cause Denny to spin out and Kurt Bush got  tangled up into it.  Because of the spin. With 13 laps to go Austin made a pit stop and is one lap down now he was in 18th at this point.  I don't knew where he finish because i missed last part of the race but good job by the 3 crew.

Austin Dillon's Post Race Results for the Coca Cola 600

Austin started the Coca Cola 600 11th the race was held at Charlotte Motor Speed way. At the beging there was a lot of movement up front Austin seem to be sticking around in the middle. Austin was than on the move up into 10th.It has been a pretty quiet up to this point mainly all single file nothing to make you cover your face or get on your feet for. Matt Kenseth was in the lead. Austin is 9th right now the competition yellow than came out to check out how the cars where doing. So far it has been a okay race not much going on right now. Austin restarted in 7th a lot of Acton happening on the restart they are 4 wide it is getting pretty good up in the front. Brad Keselowski got a penalty on pit road.

Austin had been going back and fourth in the middle of the pack. The broadcast crew was very impressed with Austin during this race where he had run a double duty with the Xfinity race on that Saturday. Austin was in 9th at that point. 65 laps in it is a pretty lay'ed back race up until now. Austin is staying in 7th, Austin has been moving up some to 6th with the green flag stops at one point he was up into 3rd. After Austin made his green flag stop it put him back into 10th. Austin has made his way back up to the front into 6th. Caution had than come out for Jimmie Johnson spin.Austin has been improving he is now back to 8th there is some movement in  the middle the front has been staying single file. Austin remains in 7th so far in the race. There has only been 3 cautions so far there was also 29 cars on the lead lap. Austin has been staying in 15th for a while. So far to me the first half had been a bit boring. The race for memorial day a lot of the driver's where honouring Solders on their cars. He ended up finishing in 16th. All and all it was  a very good race for Austin and the 3 team.

Bubba Wallace Jr Post Race Xfinity Result's fot the Monster Mile

Bubba started Saturdays Xfinity race on the pole at the Monster Mile.Bubba got passed by Austin Dillon for the lead.Bubba had lead most of the race at that point. Caution than cam out at lap 50 for debris on the caution pit stop the team to a wedge adjustment. Bubba restarted in 2nd Caution then came back out he restarted in second then moved back into 3. Bubba ended up in 5th. Bubba was not to happy about that finish because he had been doing great all race long and to finish in 5th is a hard one to take.At one point Bubba's tire went flat before he could get into the pits. This is Bubba's first whole season in this series in the 6 for Roush Racing so look for Bubba to have a great year. There had been a few times during the race made you wonder if other drivers  had been okay.
